]]>On November 8th, the department organized a meeting with the leaders of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in the United States, including:
During the meeting, the hotel leaders shared information about the environment and job opportunities at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Grand Hyatt is renowned as one of the most luxurious and prestigious hotels in the world.
The Hoa Sen Elite program students who participated in the meeting, including Quach Thanh Đat, Luu Le Minh Man, Ha Hoang Phi, Nguyen Thanh Truc, and Nguyen Thi Thao Van, had the opportunity to be interviewed directly by the General Manager and the HR Director for internship positions at the hotel in the United States.
Mr. Marc Sternagel, the General Manager of Grand Hyatt Hotel, expressed that the skills demonstrated by the students during the interviews are well-evaluated by the hotel. The hotel does not need to reteach the specific knowledge but rather guide them on how to handle real-life situations and manage people effectively.
Through the meeting with the leadership of Grand Hyatt, the Department of Hotel and Tourism once again reaffirmed the two core values of international standards and practical experience at HSU. The department consistently provides opportunities for students to interview with businesses and apply for positions at leading hotels worldwide, emphasizing the importance of international standards and hands-on practical learning.

Phan Chau Trinh was an official in the court who resigned from the mandarin to look for ways to save his country and the people here. He wrote a letter to appeal to the French colonialists to change their administration policies to improve the life of the Vietnamese people. With this letter, Phan Chau Trinh greatly influenced the people in the patriotic movement at that time. That was the reason why the funeral of Uncle Phan Chau Trinh was recorded as the largest ever in Saigon with more than 60,000 people paying homage, regardless of politics, party, or religion.
(Attractive and interesting musical performances from Hoa Sen students)
Besides the music performance from students of Hoa Sen University, the event consisted of the sharing of Mr. Nguyen Dong Hoa – great grandchild of Phan Chau Trinh – about special and outstanding deeds in Phan Chau Trinh’s life. The event also had attractive cultural performances from Mr. Ho Nhut Quang together with the Southern Culture Research and Honor Club.
