HSU launches Marketing – Communication Faculty with 5 “hot” majors in need for human resources
In order to meet the demand for market human resources in the field of marketing – communication and optimize the organization and training for students, Hoa Sen University (HSU) launched the Faculty of Marketing – Communication.
Accordingly, the Department of Marketing and Communications will include 5 majors: Marketing; Digital Marketing; Public Relations; Communication Technology Management; Multimedia Communication(new industry in 2024).
At the Launching Ceremony, the School also appointed the Faculty Leadership Board. In it, Dr. Tran Ba Dung holds the position of Dean, PhD. Le Viet Tho – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Marketing and Communications.
Dr. Tran Ba Dung, graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism, Master of Mass Communication, Doctor of Mass Communication at the Academy of Journalism and Communication. He has more than 35 years of experience working in the journalism and communications industry, with positions as reporter, Editor-in-Chief at press agencies, Head of the Professional Department at the Vietnam Journalists Association, University and Postgraduate lecturer. University, 12 years working at the Ministry of Education and Training.
Dr. Le Viet Tho graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Academy of Journalism and Communication, a Master’s degree from Victoria University (Australia), and a PhD in Communications from Edith Cowan University (Australia). He has many years of experience working in the field of journalism as Head of Publishing Secretary Department, Head of Electronic Press Department at press agencies. Formerly a lecturer and Deputy Dean of the Department of Public Relations and Communications at universities.
Speaking at the Launching Ceremony, Dr. Tran Ba Dung – Dean, Faculty of Marketing and Communications shared: “I am extremely touched by the welcome and affection of the members of Sen House. There are 3 words that describe my feelings right now: Pride, gratitude and responsibility. With 40 years of experience working in the field of journalism and communications, I and the teachers of the Department of Marketing and Communications will make efforts to inherit the values of old majors and create new majors for the Faculty. Marketing – Communications becomes a good training place for students.”
In addition, the school also reappointed other positions to strengthen the leadership system, including:

MSc. Vo Hong Hanh – Library Director
Dr. Ho Thi My Linh – Head of Department, International Cooperation Department
MSc. Le Huu Son – Deputy Head, Testing Department – Quality Assurance
MSc. To Thi Anh Nguyen – Deputy Head, Testing Department – Quality Assurance
On this occasion, the School also introduced new majors this year including: Multimedia Communications, Law, Chinese Language and Vietnam-Japanese Information Technology.
