Tomorrow’ing: Visions of a better future

As we enter 2024, the world is confronted by a waning sense of optimism, with urgent social, political, and economic issues front of mind for people around the globe. So, what can we do to build a more optimistic vision of tomorrow’s world?

This year’s prize invites emerging artists to tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues and act as a beacon of hope in the pursuit of a better tomorrow.

Who may enter

The competition is open to emerging artists aged 18 or over.

You may enter the Competition if You are an emerging artist who has either graduated from a relevant undergraduate degree course since 1 January 2019 or otherwise are within the first 5 years of your professional artistic practice.

Short description

Global creative solutions company  and London’s iconic  have announced the third edition of their annual international art initiative – the Art for Change Prize.

This year’s theme is ‘Tomorrow’ing: Visions of a better future’.

“ The 2024 theme, ‘Tomorrow’ing: Visions of a better future’, invites emerging artists to tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues and act as a beacon of hope in the pursuit of a better tomorrow.”

Accepted media includes painting, drawing, illustration, photography, video & film, collage and 2D mixed-media.

One application per artist is permitted with a maximum of five artworks accepted.

Prizes

A total prize fund of £20,000 will be split between six regional winners (Americas, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, Europe, Middle East & Africa and UK), five to receive £2,000 each and one overall winner to receive £10,000.

All artists will exhibit their winning works in a dedicated exhibition at Saatchi Gallery in London.
