]]>The talks covered a range of possibilities for future partnerships, including joint degree programs, student exchange programs, and short course offerings. By combining resources and expertise, the goal is to create enhanced educational experiences that provide global perspectives.
Aventis Graduate School was founded in 2007, making it a relatively young institution compared to some of its counterparts. However, despite its short history, the school has achieved significant recognition and success in various aspects. In terms of achievements, Aventis Graduate School has established itself as a leading provider of graduate education in Singapore and beyond. It has received accolades for its innovative programs, industry relevance, and commitment to academic excellence. Aventis offers programs across a diverse range of fields, catering to the needs of students and professionals from various backgrounds. Some of the key faculties or fields of study at Aventis Graduate School include: Business Administration, Leadership and Management, Finance and Accounting, Human Resource Management, Digital Marketing and Technology, and more.
One avenue being explored is the development of joint master’s degree programs that would allow students to study at both institutions throughout their graduate studies. This cross-institutional model could facilitate the sharing of specialized faculty, resources, and unique program offerings from each partner.
Student exchange programs are another area of focus, with planned opportunities for students to spend a semester or academic year studying abroad. In addition to cultural immersion, these exchanges would expand academic options and allow students to gain a truly global education experience.
To meet workforce demands for specialized skills training, the institutions are also discussing the creation of short courses open to students and professionals. These intensive programs could cover cutting-edge topics and emerging fields by combining faculty expertise from both partners.
“We are thrilled at the prospect of working more closely with Aventis,” stated Dr. Phan Thi Viet Nam, Vice President of Hoa Sen University. “Their reputation for academic excellence combined with our strengths in some main areas create immense potential for innovative curricula and international opportunities.”
“Aventis Graduate School has always been committed to developing generations of innovative, entrepreneurial leaders,” said Mr. Andrew Lim, Business Development Manager from Aventis Graduate School. “Collaborating with a forward-looking, prestigious university like Hoa Sen University helps us amplify those efforts on an international scale.”
The specific areas of study being targeted initially include Business and Social Science. Curriculum development teams from both partners will work over the coming months to create program proposals.
As Hoa Sen University and Aventis Graduate School continue this dialogue, more details will emerge regarding joint program rollouts, application procedures, costs, and schedules. The goal is to launch the initial collaborative offerings as early as possible.
This is evidenced by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between both parties, pledging mutual support and cooperation to jointly develop leveraging the strengths and resources of both.
