ECNU is located in Shanghai, China; and it is one of the leading Pedagogical Universities. Established in 1951, ECNU has affirmed its position with excellent training quality, an international learning environment and modern facilities.

The meeting was full of promise
The meeting took place in an intimate and open atmosphere, the two sides spent time discussing development directions, training strengths and future cooperation potential. Representatives of both universities expressed their impression of the achievements of their partners and wished to cooperate together for mutual development.
Although it was only the first meeting, both have expressed their desire to cooperate closely in the following areas:
- Joint and Franchise Programs: HSU representatives expressed desire to establish joint, franchise and conversion programs that allow students from both universities to study and receive degrees from both schools. In particular, HSU representatives shared that HSU was interested in the Chinese Programs and wished to discuss in more detail cooperation opportunities in this field;
- Master’s Degree Program in Chinese Language Studies: HSU is particularly interested in the Master of Chinese Languages Studies, where HSU students could transfer credits from existing courses at HSU to the ECNU Master’s program. This approach is expected to attract more students and could significantly increase the number of students participating in the program;
- Student and lecturer exchange program: Both universities have proposed to implement a student and faculty exchange program to promote cultural awareness between the two countries, and academic exchange;
- Cooperate in organizing seminars and sponsoring student projects: The two universities can jointly organize scientific conferences or sponsor student projects as an effective form of cooperation.

To meet the standards to apply, candidates have:

?To be able to write and speak English fluently. No English score required in application. Selected candidates will be sponsored TOEFL iBT test before October 20, 2024.
Ineligible candidates include:
- Individuals who have recently graduated from university;
- University lecturers or researchers not in a management position (except for candidates in the field of Drug Abuse Education, Treatment and Prevention);
- Individuals who have attended graduate school in the United States for one year or more within 7 years by August 2025, or have been in the United States for 6 months or more within 5 years by August 2025;
- Individuals who have dual U.S. citizenship or permanent residence in the United States;
- Individuals who have participated in a U.S. government-sponsored exchange program within the past three years before August 2025.
Financial support:
The Humphrey Fellowship Program will provide successful applicants with the following financial support:

?Cost of buying books as well as professional activities.

On May 15, 2024, Hoa Sen University (HSU) was honored to welcome Ms. Jade ANDRZEJEWSKI, representative of the French Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, to visit. This meeting marks a new step in the cooperation between HSU and the French Consulate.
The cooperative relationship between HSU and the French Consulate has reached an important milestone when the Graduation Ceremony of the Vatel Program was held at the French Consulate in 2022. This event demonstrated the trust and commitment to extensive cooperation between the two sides in the field of high-quality human resource training.
At the meeting, Dr. Phan Thi Viet Nam, Vice Principal of the HSU; and Dr. Ho Thi My Linh, Head of the Office of Global Engagement, welcomed Ms. Jade ANDRZEJEWSKI and discussed future cooperation opportunities.
