Lecturers of the Department of Psychology participate in EMDR Therapy Training – Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

On January 16-20, 2019, Master Nguyen Hong An, Lecturer of the Psychology Department – at Hoa Sen University, attended the Training Course on EMDR Therapy – Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (rough translation). : Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy) in Siem Reap, Cambodia. 
This is a training course in the Mekong II Project Series to raise awareness about mental health and provide professional training for practitioners in Southeast Asia, especially in the field of psychological trauma. 
The Training Course is an opportunity to exchange knowledge and international exchanges with the presence of experts from 7 countries: England, Germany, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Besides, this is also an opportunity for the Department of Psychology at Hoa Sen University to interact with other Vietnamese experts from several universities and NGOs in the city. Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi.
With this new knowledge, it is hoped that in the future, awareness-raising and professional support for psychological trauma issues will be further promoted in Vietnam.
