“DEMYSTIFYING THE SALES PROFESSION” WORKSHOP WITH MISA

With the desire to ignite the passion for the Sales profession, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Hoa Sen University, in collaboration with MISA Corporation, organized a workshop exclusively for Hoa Sen students in general and the teams participating in the HSU Business Challenge in particular. The workshop took place at Auditorium 903, the main campus on Nguyen Van Trang Street, with more than 100 students from various disciplines in attendance.

MISA Company, one of the companies that has been collaborating and accompanying the Faculty of Economics – Business throughout the past year. This is one of the workshops closely tied to the business, at the same time fostering long-term relationships and providing students with more experience to understand the sales profession better.

Hoa Sen University students had the opportunity to meet and interact directly with Alumni and Ms. Nguyen Phuong Quyen (Deputy Director of the MISA Office) from MISA Corporation – one of the leading companies in accounting software optimization.

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Quyen shared valuable and interesting insights about the Sales profession. Students gained a better understanding of the career advancement process and opportunities in the sales field. The presence of Alumni from HSU added a personal touch, conveying messages to students with the hope that they will maintain their passion for Sales through real-life experiences shared by Alumni after leaving the university.

“Communication, active listening, persuasive skills, and effective time management and planning are essential skills to become a successful salesperson. Additionally, strong negotiation skills are crucial to closing deals quickly while ensuring quality work.” – shared by Ms. Nguyen Phuong Quyen.

The workshop provided Hoa Sen University students with a fresh perspective on the sales profession, offering insights on how to close deals quickly while maintaining the quality of the product. At the end of the program, HSU students had the opportunity to apply for positions at MISA with the slogan “try interviewing, real jobs.” This experience aligns with the core values of “Learning by Doing” and “Vibrant Experiences” at Hoa Sen University.
