Studying Sports Economics to meet famous athletes?
When pursuing a degree in Sports Economics, students have the opportunity to develop their passion for business while also having the chance to meet famous athletes and players.
Sharing about the Sports Economics field, TS. Nguyen Thi Hien Thanh, Director of the Sports Economics program and Director of the Sports Center at Hoa Sen University, mentioned that the most frequently asked question she receives when advising on this major is: “Can someone who is not good at sports study Sports Economics?”
TS. Thanh asserts that students who are not adept at sports can still study this major, as long as they have a certain passion for sports and a keen interest in business, wealth creation, daring to venture, and daring to think and act.
During the 3 – 3.5 years of studying Sports Economics, in addition to the fundamental knowledge of the field, students will learn about sports financial management, sports facility management, sports marketing and sponsorship, player transfers, sports communication, and more. Upon entering the job market, students will participate in business activities and communications for sports events organized by enterprises.
