In the Fall semester of 2024, Mong Duyen, a student majoring in English Language at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and International Studies at Hoa Sen University, had the opportunity to participate in a student exchange program in the Netherlands. After more than a month of studying and living there, she visited major cities such as Zwolle, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and The Hague. From her personal experiences, Duyen shared profound thoughts about this journey, emphasizing personal development and the valuable lessons learned in an international environment.
Hoa Sen University’s student exchange program in Europe, particularly in the Netherlands, not only provides academic knowledge but also helps Duyen develop many life skills. She shares: “Participating in this program has brought me memorable and meaningful experiences. It is not only an opportunity to expand my knowledge but also to accumulate life experiences, develop independence, and broaden my global perspective.”
Every day, Duyen interacts and works with friends from various countries. This not only improve her English skills but also opens up opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of the cultures, lifestyles, and working methods of other countries. In particular, learning from the diverse working styles of international students has helped her develop more creative and effective working methods.
