On October 3, 2023, the Faculty of International Languages and Cultures organized an opening session to welcome more than 100 new students. At the event, new students learned general information about Sen House, including departments, rules, regulations as well as the rights of Sen House students.

Before officially starting the first semester at Hoa Sen University, new students will participate in the orientation activities – WEEK 0.

The program is organized in conjunction with the Department of International Languages and Cultures - Hoa Sen University and the WESET English Centre. By participating in the event, you will not only be able to share things to keep in mind for the IELTS exam but also participate in an exam to assess your English proficiency through the IELTS test.

Maintain the traditional academic playground, promote creative ability, and be proactive in studying and researching for students in Ho Chi Minh City in general and at Hoa Sen University in particular. The Department of Scientific Management – Journal of Science announces the "25th Eureka Scientific Research Student Award in 2023" competition organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.

Launched in 2021, the Video Contest brings together students from Osaka University and its partner universities around the world in a shared goal to contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goals. The contest and the student forum have served as platforms for global student engagement partner universities, enabling students to exchange ideas creatively around SDGs and their role in making a positive impact.

On August 10, 2023, Faculty of Languages – International Cultures organized a seminar on “Sustainable Development in Higher Education,” with the participation of two experienced guest speakers: Dr. Bui Yen Ngoc and Dr. Susan Germein from Australia. During the seminar, Dr. Bui Yen Ngoc and Dr. Susan Germein shared their many years of research experience in the field of education. The atmosphere was lively and enthusiastic, especially with Dr. Susan Germein sharing her experiences of conducting research in India, a completely new and unfamiliar cultural context for her.
