Before officially starting the first semester at Hoa Sen University, new students will participate in the orientation activities �?WEEK 0.

During the orientation session, students will:

• Receive introductions from the Student Employment Experience Center, the Training Department, the Student Union, and the Library about departments, information on schedules, exams, activities, and contact methods when needed.
• Get acquainted with and interact with the leaders of the faculty, lecturers, and fellow students in the same major.
• Receive essential information about the English Language program, projects, experiential activities, etc.
• Be introduced to academic advisors and participate in the election of class organizers.
• Learn and interact with the Student Union, Clubs, and Organizations of the faculty.

Time: Tuesday, October 3, 2023

• Morning (8:30 AM – 11 AM): Library Orientation; Training Department, Student Employment Experience Center, Student Union, and group discussions.
• Afternoon (1:30 PM – 4 PM): Faculty Orientation.

To encourage and promote the scientific research activities of students of Hoa Sen University, the Department of Science Management – Scientific Journal decided to cooperate with other faculties and programs to organize a conference of research students’ science on November 10, 2022, at Hoa Sen University.

The main target of the conference is to build a research culture at Hoa Sen University to develop scientific research capacity for students, foster talented young scientists, and reach the requirements of highly qualified human resource training.

The 2022 National English Olympiad with the theme “Vietnamese Students: Aspiration and Creativity” officially kicks off in June 2022. With a spirit of enthusiasm and positivity, Hoa Sen University immediately organized contests to select outstanding and typical students and represent the school to participate.

After two rounds of intense competition with 77 teams from universities and colleges across the country, the HSUnstoppable team consisting of students from the Faculty of Languages – International Cultures, entered the regional final round of the National English Olympiad 2022, excellently becoming the top representative of the Southern group.

From here, the HSUnstoppable team will officially participate in the Regional Finals, which will take place on October 15, 2022. The final round promises to bring highly fresh, enthusiastic, and creative images from the HSUnstoppable team.

This is also a testament to affirming the international standard bilingual university environment, training generations of students to master professional knowledge and practical experience, and good foreign language ability to integrate into the world market.

The 2022 National English Olympic Competition was held with the theme “Vietnamese students: Aspiration and Creativity.” The contest promises to be a playground where the teams shine and affirm the creativity, spirit, and aspirations of Vietnamese students and their confidence and ability to use English fluently. The regional final round will also be the next challenge to select the best teams to advance to the national final round.

Once again, Hoa Sen University congratulates the HSUnstoppable team for their enthusiastic participation in the competition and for bringing impressive achievements to the University, wishing you all the best in the final round of the competition.

The 39th graduation ceremony of Hoa Sen University has ended with many unforgettable impressions. Along with the ranks of excellent freshmen, possessing extremely outstanding achievements, we cannot fail to mention Ms. Le Ngoc Phuong Nga – valedictorian in English Language Studies, with a GPA of 3.6/4.0.

Previously, Ms. Phuong Nga excellently received the title of Vietnam TOEIC Ambassador – April 2022 certified by IIG Vietnam Education Organization – National Representative of the American Institute of Educational Testing (EFT). ) in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.

More specifically, Ms. Phuong Nga once participated in the 12th grade British team of Trung Vuong High School and won the third prize in the City-level English HSG exam. After that, she achieved a score of 9.8 for English in the 2017 university entrance exam.

According to Ms. Phuong Nga sharing about her learning experiences at HSU: “The school environment at HSU is dynamic and modern, I see that the school organizes many workshops to share with students a lot of knowledge and skills. including learning English.The teachers at HSU are all experienced and dedicated to their students.It is the knowledge of the language and the skills developed by the teachers that have helped me a lot in consolidating and improving my English skills” – Phuong Nga shared her experiences while studying at HSU.
