WELCOME CEREMONY FOR NEW STUDENTS OF THE STUDENTS OF THE CHINESE LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT – A MEMORABLE START TO THE JOURNEY OF CONQUERING KNOWLEDGE AT HSU

🎉 The opening and interludes of the program featured cultural performances rich in Chinese heritage, such as the “Phong Nhã Tụng” dance, singing, and zither performances, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere for the entire hall. The new students were provided important information about the curriculum, job opportunities from partner businesses, and experiential activities throughout their studies. This significantly helped the students gain a clearer orientation about their field of study and future careers, creating a strong motivation to strive in their Chinese Language studies at HSU.

✍ One of the most special moments of the event was the “Khai bút Bái sư” ceremony, a unique tradition at HSU. Under the meticulous guidance of Dr. Hồ Minh Quang, the new students learned how to hold a calligraphy brush, write their first characters, and bow while saying “lǎo shī, xièxie” to their future teachers. This ceremony marked the beginning of their new academic journey and served as a reminder of the value of knowledge and gratitude—core values on the path of education and personal development.

The welcome ceremony left memorable moments among students, faculty, guests, and partner businesses. It was not just an inaugural event but also a solid stepping stone for new students to confidently enter their new academic environment, filled with expectations and ambitions.
