In the process of building and developing Hoa Sen University, the university’s leaders are always focus on quality assurance in order to improve the quality of training and meet the goals, vision, mission and strategy of Hoa Sen University, also to ensure the requirements on educational goals of the Law on Higher Education, in accordance with the requirements of training human resources of the society.
On April 28th, 2008, the school established the Quality Assurance – Inspection Department to advise the Board of Presidents on quality assurance and inspection and examination of training work in the whole school, in order to ensure the enforcement of laws, rules and regulations of the University on training, ensure and improve training quality.
On May 31th, 2017, the President of Hoa Sen University issued Decision No. 568/QĐ-NS to establish the Center of Higher Education Research and Accreditation, and at the same time merged the Quality Assurance Department into the Center of Higher Education Research and Accreditation. With the goal of ensuring and improving the quality of training; capacity development and training of instructors; building and perfecting higher education theory; develop training programs according to international standards… The Center has developed and implemented action plans to well implement the set objectives.
On May 2th, 2019, the Center of Higher Education Research and Accreditation changed its name to the Office of Quality Assurance and Testing according to Decision No. 288/QĐ-ĐHHS-NS.
On February 26th, 2021, the Office of Quality Assurance and Testing changed its name to the Office of Testing – Quality Assurance according to Decision No. 325/QĐ-ĐHHS.
